Booking and payment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your booking is confirmed once we receive the signed contract and a payment of 30% of the total price. The 70% balance is paid by bank transfer no later than 10 days before your stay begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prices include all charges: water, electricity and heating are included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Length of stay<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rental is granted for the dates set out in the contract, for a maximum of 10 occupants. It may only be extended with the owner's prior written agreement, and may not exceed 90 days in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. What's included<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In July and August, household linen (sheets, bath towels and tea towels) is provided and beds are made on arrival. The rest of the year, please bring your own sheets and towels.<\/li>\n\n<li>A starter kit of essentials: basic groceries and cleaning products.<\/li>\n\n<li>Access to the private pool, enclosed garden and parking in the courtyard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Security deposit and cleaning deposit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On arrival, the tenant gives the owner a security deposit of \u20ac1,600 and a cleaning deposit of \u20ac150, by cheque. Guests from abroad may pay these sums in cash or by bank transfer. They are not cashed (or are returned) within 10 days of departure, unless there is damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This period allows us to check that nothing is missing, damaged or soiled. If damage exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the tenant agrees to pay the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Cleaning and departure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The house must be left clean and tidy on the day of departure, before 10 am. Before leaving, please:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>empty and clean the fridge, microwave, oven, coffee maker and sink;<\/li>\n\n<li>gather dirty linen in the living room, fold the bedding at the foot of each bed and the towels in the bathrooms;<\/li>\n\n<li>wash and put away the dishes, and empty the bins, sorting the recycling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A \u20ac150 cleaning fee is charged if cleaning after your departure takes more than 3 hours, or if the house is not returned in its original condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Insurance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The owner insures the property. The tenant must provide proof of third-party liability insurance before arrival and report any incident within 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Safety and life on site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The pool is fitted with an alarm. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.<\/li>\n\n<li>The gate must always be closed, for the safety of both children and dogs.<\/li>\n\n<li>Smoking is not allowed inside the house.<\/li>\n\n<li>Please keep noise down between 11 pm and 7 am, out of respect for the neighbours. Parties and events are not allowed.<\/li>\n\n<li>The rental may not be assigned or sublet without the owner's written agreement.<\/li>\n\n<li>The gardener and pool technician may visit during your stay, respecting your privacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Full details are set out in our <a href=\"\/en\/reglement-interieur\/\">house rules<\/a>, provided and signed on arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Dogs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dogs are welcome. The house must be left with no trace of their stay, inside or out. Any damage caused by an animal is the tenant's responsibility and may be deducted from the security deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Non-payment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of non-payment by the due dates or breach of contract, the agreement may be terminated five days after a formal notice sent by registered letter has gone unanswered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. Disputes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If any problem arises, please contact us first so we can find an amicable solution.
